Robert Chabon, Director
of Case Review Services, is a board-certified physician with
an M.D. from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, a
J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and a Master’s
degree in Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh
Graduate School of Public Health. He has held faculty appointments
in medical and law schools, and taught full courses in Health
and Hospital Law and in Mental Health Law in law school.
Over
the years, he has evaluated for merit thousands of potential
and active medical malpractice cases and has assisted attorneys
with case preparation, choice of experts, preparation for deposition,
trial strategy, preparation of witnesses and other aspects of
the management of medical malpractice cases. He is also experienced
and knowledgeable in cases involving hospitals and hospital administration,
medical staff law and credentialing issues and managed care litigation,
including denial of benefits, physician credentialing for managed
care panels and managed care contracting issues.
Dr. Chabon has
also reviewed many cases involving mental health care, nursing
home care, and the management of drugs and pharmaceuticals. He
is available to work for and with both plaintiff and defense
attorneys from the earliest stages of a case to its ultimate
conclusion.
Dr. Chabon serves as Director of Case Review Services
for Healthcare Litigation Support LLC.
